Mumblings...

So I've jumped on the bandwagon and started a blog...(Apologies in advance as it will most probably be sporadic. I also can't spell, type or proof read!).

Obviously I spend a lot of my time cooking...cooking super healthy dog food, baking and also churning out breakfast, lunch/lunch boxes (I really HATE doing lunchboxes) and dinner...seven days a week, 52 days a year...groundhog day style!

I do love cooking and 'my body is a temple, 'you are what you eat' etc etc I do believe BUT not every. single. day, if one child will eat it the other won't, "oooo is that (insert whatever the latest food that's offending their palete), I don't like that"...well I'm not going to say I love cooking EVERY day or that my diet is a constant supply of nourishing superfoods or that I live in a chemical- free home. That would be taking being economical with the truth to a whole new level!

So...on that note my blog will be firmly based in reality. My reality - the one where I juggle kids, pets, jobs, housework and mostly eat refined carbohydrates for lunch in the car on the way to school pick-up. Which is possibly your reality too. On that basis it will be minimum effort healthy living, recipes and ideas for your pets, kids, home and also some for the person who's probably always last on the list - YOU!

So today's pearl of wisdom....open your windows! Remember what your grannie told you - let in the fresh air and blow away the cobwebs! Before we even get started on chemical-free cleaning products, air purifiers, salt lamps, organic this and that - just open your windows! It's the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to reduce chemicals in your home.

And there ends my enlightening first post haha. Stay tuned for more riveting ideas ~ Stef x
